21st Century and Future-Ready Schools
21ST CENTURY SKILLS POLICY - The North Carolina State Board of Education adopted policy to bring the infusion of 21st century skills to scale across the state. The P21 (Partnership for 21st Century Skills) framework was used to rewrite the state mission and goals.
“The guiding mission of the North Carolina State Board of Education is that every public school student will graduate from high school globally competitive for work and postsecondary education and prepared for life in the 21st century.”
