Constitution Day - Educational Resources
In partnership with the National Constitution Center and the American Bar Association, the Bill of Rights Institute will create an online Constitution Day resource for teachers, http://www.ConstitutionDay.org,
scheduled to launch by August.
Also available through the Bill of Rights web site (http://www.billofrightsinstitute.org),
teachers will have free access to one lesson plan that will help commemorate the signing of the Constitution on September 17, 1787. The lesson will focus on the nature of the Constitution, challenge students to reflect on Constitutional principles, including limited government, individual rights and a federal system.
