Experienced and inexperienced teachers gleaned substance from Dr. Jolliffe’s clear presentation of rhetoric as a mode of thinking that informs persuasive speaking and writing. Central office and other educators also noted the immediate and critical relevance of Dr. Jolliffe’s presentation to gifted and talented and other intelligences among our varied student and teaching populations. He demonstrated through multiple references to diverse texts that rhetoric is a dynamic concept with 21st century application to everyone’s world.
