ELA Live! The 6-12 English Language Arts Podcast
ELA Live! is a podcast produced by the 6-12 English Language Arts staff at DPI.
This downloadable show features items of interest for English teachers, administrators, and the concerned public.
This first Podcast features an interview with assessment guru Margaret Heritage. Margaret was the featured presenter at the ELA institute on Formative Assessment that was held in New Bern on October 22 and 23, 2007. This is an excellent opportunity to hear the thoughts and insights on Formative Assessment from an international expert on this topic.
Please tune in to future podcasts which will include more interviews with educators from across the state and nation, great ideas for lesson plans, ELA updates, and much, much more! Also, teachers who are interested in contributing to ELA podcasts as a part of classroom projects should email ELA Consultant Bob Alexander at balexander@dpi.state.nc.us, or phone him at 919-807-3927. In addition, please feel free to provide feedback and ideas or topics for future podcasts. Enjoy the show!
